Finally got this and I like it a lot.
Dunno why people complain about it. It'll take me a month to pore over it all.
Got the one with the cd's, so now I have to figure out if I can hear sonic differences between video and audio.. The sound is pretty great!
What a marvelous treat.
When I get a bit more money I'll get 5 copies of the 2dvd and send them to my friends

I want the Brussels gig on video! Or the London gig with Aaron on the Royal Albert Hall organ.

Glad you like it... I'm not yet sure... not even if I will visit them on their next Euro tour. They'll play the North Sea Jazz festival. Tickets at 75 E for one day, no separate concert possibility and 1,5 hour scheduled time.

they play just outside of my hometown at a festival that I'm boycotting for just the same short setlist and inflated ticketprice reasons

My curiosity got the best of me, so I ordered this yesterday.

EDIT: I cancelled the order and am gonna see if my brother who's got some connections in the DVD industry can get it for me for free instead.

I certainly don't understand everything the ZFT does. Most of the available FZ/Zappa DVDs are available in music stores in Australia although The Torture Never Stops hasn't appeared here yet. But, when ZPZ passed through here last year, all you could get was the 2 DVD release in cardboard, which I purchased as soon as it hit the shelves. No-one knew there would be anything else at that stage. Now what is available here is the 2 DVD, 1 CD package. Why did they choose to market that one here?

Anyway, I wouldn't buy the 2 DVD, 3 CD package even if it was available. If I want to hear it I can just throw the DVDs into the drive as it's all part of the same system that I have anyway. I'm not concerned about not having ZPZ on my iPod, although, I sometimes use the iPod played through my system because it's so convenient for extended play lists. Maybe I should get one of those DVD Audio conversion utilities.
