it's much much better than what I would do if I ever tried to juggle, even with a Zappa shirt.

DED - 5-4-2007 at 15:43

wow 2 commments on you tube

punknaynowned - 5-4-2007 at 16:39

is that with the new camera?
I could never get the audio to stay with the video, the video from a digicam was always played back on youtube a little bit faster than the audio
but wait, there's no audio here
thanx fer the entertainment!!

DED - 5-4-2007 at 20:38

I saw other movies and I indeed saw that the sound was quicker.
Thought it was my computer.
There is sound but nothing special
pic Quality seems okay

DED - 5-4-2007 at 20:39

and yes it was with the new camera

BBP - 5-4-2007 at 22:17

There is audio on my camera... the audio involved is not much more than the sounds caused by the balls falling in my hand (or on the floor).

PS Aqua: it took me one week before I was able to juggle a little, and even then I was still sucky. You can do it!

greetings to the source of your mood:biggrin:

Aqua:
First of all: get juggling balls. They are perfect: they don't bounce, are not perfectly round so they won't roll far on your hand, and don't hurt when they land in your hand.

Start with tossing a juggling ball from one hand into the other, so you'll learn in what direction and in what speed you throw.

Second: envision a rectangle in front of you.

Take 2 juggling balls, one in your left hand, one in your right hand. Throw the ball in your right hand to the top left corner of this envisioned rectangle.
As soon as the ball reaches the top left corner, throw the ball in your left hand at the top right corner, then use it to catch the other ball. Catch the remaining ball in flight with your right hand.

When you've mastered the timing, take three juggling balls, take two in your right and one in your left hand, and do the same thing you did with two balls. Except when the ball from your left hand reaches the top right corner of your rectangle, you throw the one in your right hand, and so on.

You can do it! Don't get discouraged if you don't know how to do it after one hour. And if you like, put some music on. It will boost your stamina. Mr Bungle is excellent for juggling! Also I love juggling to Offenbach's Orpheus in the Underworld (better known as CanCan).

thank you for your advice Bonny, my girlfriend's got juggling balls, next time I see her, I'll try all that.

BBP - 7-4-2007 at 12:42

Or http://www.jongle.fr , the large French juggling community. No cool flashes, but at least you can understand what they say.

DED - 7-4-2007 at 13:22

I can not

Coming up Bonny playing alaturka on the keyboard.
But it hard to stay on tune for more than a minute or so :bouncy:
:bouncy:

BBP - 8-4-2007 at 09:50

Of course I won't be installing that on YouTube... I had put my camera onto my keyboard, causing it to wobble a lot. Also the sound quality is poor.

DED - 8-4-2007 at 10:32

we have a tripod, you know
I will investigate today where, o where in the house it will be.

BBP - 8-4-2007 at 20:05

That'd be better, it was very distracting seeing that camera wobbling.

DED - 8-4-2007 at 21:30

I have found it behind a black sony TC370 deck:drool:

DED - 9-4-2007 at 16:09

the next step is learning to play the keyboard :pissed:

aquagoat - 24-5-2007 at 06:12

The url contained a malformed video id. that's what I see when I click on your link bonny.

That link is now invalid. I chucked off that film.

DED - 26-11-2007 at 17:49

Are you still juggling ?

BBP - 26-11-2007 at 19:31

Yeah, a little. But now that I'm juggling mostly standing up, I have to be outside... and you can understand that in this weather there are better things to do outside (namely going inside).

punknaynowned - 27-11-2007 at 08:50

does it seem to rain there all the time?
I think of Paris as such, but for some reason think of Holland as sunny, tho I hear Bonny talk of delivering papers in the rain a lot

Kansas is known for its tornados but only one has hit this town's city limits in the last 20+ years, for example

BBP - 27-11-2007 at 09:28

Right now it's sunny... but it's freezing. We don't have sun for 70 days per year.
I'm actually glad to have a winter here. Last year there was none: just a few cold days. That's freaky.

You're from Kansas? ("Who could imagine... that they would freak out... in Kansas KANSAS KANSAS KANSAS")

punknaynowned - 27-11-2007 at 09:36

I'm not from here but it is where I live
I am thinking tonight that soon I should post a couple videos on you tube of the neighborhood I live in.
I moved since I took all those shots from the other window and the sidewalk that you've seen

not sunny 70 days a year?!
I would think that would make everyone depressed
the warm winters have not been so common here yet to be established as a pattern, yet
no clue about the bald smilie

[Edited on 27-11-2007 by punknaynowned]

BBP - 27-11-2007 at 11:53

Ooh! Sounds great!

Hmmm... in search of an "waiting anxiously" smiley...

punknaynowned - 27-11-2007 at 18:08

maybe that's what the bald smilie is:
'I've been waiting so long, I'm losing my hair . . .'
:)
