that is SO sweet!
Merry Christmas to you too Bonny and all your loved ones.:-D

Xmas noise for dummies! ha!
tonight I listened to all of the 1st disc of the new Wazoo and the last 2 on the 2nd disc and on a different release Moggio, What would Rumi Do? and Night School from the Ensemble Modern release of a couple years ago (very nice) and a couple from the too maligned Does Humor Belong In Music? cd.

BBP - 24-12-2007 at 15:42

Great album huh! I do think it starts off a little odd.

DED - 25-12-2007 at 11:23

dunno
But I want to wish that everybody has wonderful Christmas days
As every year around Christmas a famous person goes to heaven
This year it is Oscar Peterson :(

punknaynowned - 26-12-2007 at 00:34

the radio is calling him the best piano player ever

BBP - 26-12-2007 at 01:06

There's been a christmas tragedy here... A chinese restaurant burned down in the evening, and the owner's 4 children were asleep on the first floor and passed away... :(

DED - 26-12-2007 at 12:53

Fire was caused by a bad power cord on a ceiling lamp in the living room.
When you see the pictures of the remains of the building it is quite amazing that they have founde the cause.
But sure the new halogen spots are quite dangerous, current are too high (For instance a 50W 12V bulb needs 4 amps and heat develepment is calculated at Q= I*I*R.

Oh the symbolism! Excellent work! I sure would like to give that old duck a kick the beak, symbolically of course.

BBP - 1-1-2008 at 13:56

Kick the beak? You've just discovered a gap in my English language.

I forgot the clouds, though...

scallopino - 2-1-2008 at 09:05

HAHA. Sorry. It should have been "a kick in the beak". Your English remains intact.

aquagoat - 4-1-2008 at 15:49

Thanks Aqua!
It's been a whle since the 19th, but how was your birthday?

aquagoat - 7-1-2008 at 12:49

my birthday was great, thank you, a cool present, a nice dinner with my girlfriend, etc,etc... and Christmas and new year's eve were great too. Besides, I gonna move to another flat that is less expensive, so 2008 seems to start well.

BBP - 7-1-2008 at 15:59

Sounds great! Hope the flat is nice!

What present did you get?

DED - 8-1-2008 at 11:00

He said a cool present.

That must be a refrigirator:lol:

scallopino - 8-1-2008 at 11:18

Or an eskimo.

aquagoat - 8-1-2008 at 15:00

we almost had to buy one indeed, cause it stopped working for a while before starting again, i still don't know the reason why. Actually I had a wallet and a few cds I really wanted to have including this:
that I couldn't find anywhere.

BBP - 8-1-2008 at 16:50

Looks spiffy! So how's that album?

scallopino - 10-1-2008 at 04:18

It looks very interesting by the cover. It looks like Pacman has the upper hand in this encounter.

Maybe this could be the reason? :puzzled:

punknaynowned - 14-1-2008 at 09:40

hahahaha
I hate it when that happens
:freak:
thanx fer the laugh

DED - 15-1-2008 at 14:46

He must be lucky that the top half is the cooler and not the freezer

aquagoat - 15-1-2008 at 15:40

hahahahah, no I never do that kind of thing, DED.
@BB: the album is not that good compared to other Scientist albums such as: "Rids the world of the evil curse of vampires" or "Wins the world cup".

BBP - 15-1-2008 at 16:32

Those album titles are gorgeous! Reminds me of "Animals should not try to act like people".

aquagoat - 23-1-2008 at 11:57

yes, i adore that kind of titles.

BBP - 23-1-2008 at 12:49

We're only in it for the money... Amazing...

aquagoat - 25-1-2008 at 15:28

I really like this: sociology is a contact sport...

BBP - 25-1-2008 at 16:36

 Good one! Is that an album title?

scallopino - 26-1-2008 at 15:32

Time Is Money?

BBP - 27-1-2008 at 00:03

Wrong topic, but it's indeed the one I was thinking about!

no it's the title of a movie about french sociologist Pierre Bourdieu.

BBP - 29-1-2008 at 20:08

...Not sure what my fav movie title is... but the worst could well be "The man who went up a hill and came down a mountain."
