On the 8th of December, our fellow forum member Kapt.Kirk departed this earth after a heart attack. His health issues had led to a disappearance of
the forum, in spite of his choice to ban all contact dear Forum member Plook managed to get information on him.
Kirk was to attend ZPZ on the 7th with several other Zappa.com members and friends, leaving an empty hole in a front seat.
Dweezil gave him a shout-out on that occasion:

I really got to know him over the last year. We had made several plans to meet but it never happened. He asked me if I was going to ZPZ but I had to
move out of my place and now live in a friends garage which is the best I could do with such short notice.
We talked almost daily all summer long. Then he just stopped posting stuff and the messages stopped. I thought maybe he was busy working.

Poor guy had had a heart attack in October, shortly before he was due in court on a bullshit charge.

Well, I had a fan base of one and now it's zero. The thing I remember the most about Kirk is that when he first came to the Zappa forum he was really
shy and just made really obscure posts. At first I thought he was just another Sabretoophairy. Then he decided to come out of his shell and his posts
just became regular conservational material. Although, he had moments when I think he was pretty damn high and his posts did get a bit bit weird from
time to time. Rest in peace mate.

I think he was 58. He was about 5 years older than me.
