Tom Hanks has a part. But I'll ask the good people at Flippermarkt.

Where they sell friendly dolphins?

Pappawas1975 - 1-12-2008 at 09:20

You can buy that everywhere I thought?

We're hoping to find it in the second-hand store. Nothing is as bugging as paying a lot of money for something that disappoints, and then seeing somebody else got disappointed too and dropped it at the goodwill, where a mere 50 cents will make you the owner of the once so eagerly hungered for item.

In Holland at Bol.com 5,99 euro's
(I can wait)
75 cents is a better price, since I only need 1- or 20 seconds

Pin Bot in BIG

Hey! I actually have seen that Ded. Are you saying that the pin ball machine in the movie is the one you now have in your house?

BBP - 30-12-2008 at 09:21

No, it's its brother. I assume they took out the playfield (because that's where most of the technical dealies are attached to, so it's quite heavy) and possibly the circuitboard. There's no way 4 men can lift that thing so easily, especially with legs and headboard still attached. It weighs over 100 kilos in full glory.

Or her sister. Ours was shipped to Germany first.
Our Pinbox has aprox. 10.000 sisters or brothers.

But I don't agree with BBP. 4 guys can easily move the box.
It was however not clever to ship it with the upperboard standing right. The playfield is in and the machine is fully working as you can see on the movie.
Before the shot was taken a new game was started. You can see that on the blinking display with 00 (Yes bbp it is blinking). If they have not done this, the flippers were not operational.

I wonder if dolphins would be good at pin ball if given the chance.

DED - 31-12-2008 at 08:02

Could be, but I assume they should have problems getting the coin inserted

scallopino - 1-1-2009 at 07:06

Ah yes. They would have to get the nearest friendly human to help them get started.
