They are repeating the second series on UK Gold at the moment. No matter how many times I see that or the first series, it makes me die......I hope Coogan realises his Hollywood career isnt working and brings back the Partridge...

Never seen it...

My sister is reading over my shoulder, and has a strong opinion on Alan:

" I've seen the (or a) Christmas episode of that, I never knew that Brits could write programs with such German-ish sense of humour, (i.e. not a compliment)"

oooo...Sacrilege! Speaking of Germans, have they gotten over the German Fawlty Towers episode yet?

BBP - 11-3-2006 at 16:30

Thought they did, Cleese said so in an interview anyway...

Pappawas1975 - 11-3-2006 at 19:53

Las time I was in Germany, they were repeating FT. The friend I was staying with told me that to that day, the Germans love the show but never show the "Germans" episode........Oh well, lets hope they have gotten over it and are able to take a joke.....!!

AH HAR!!!!

zazkia - 9-4-2006 at 00:25

the show was neither broadcasted in the Netherlands until somewhere in the nineties because it was bought by the catholic broadcast association that could not laugh about Cleese's imitation.
Always known that them Romans :pissed: were on the wrong side during the war!
