Harry Pothead

OK, 'fess up guys and dolls!!

Being someone who usually instinctively dislikes what everyone else likes, the adventures of ol' Harry are an exception. I've read all the books and seen all the movies, including the latest movie which is quite outstanding.

Scallapino's Patented Lameness-Factor Rating (SPLFR): 10%.

Which is the equivalent of a 9/10 score for all of Harrydom.

I don't know Harry. I tend to wait until the rush is off things, when you can find loads of cheap second-hand copies.

As an old man it makes me feel dirty to have the hots for Hermione.

Glad her name is not Magdalena

No one has to know. ;-)

Y'know when you read something with a character with a funny name? And you make up your mind as to how your going to pronounce it for the rest of the book? I pronounced her as: "Her-me-own-ee". My sister pronounced it as "Herman".

You bet. I've been through Lord Of The Rings and most of Bordewijk's writings. Silmarillion too makes a nice name-booklet. But at least it has a pronounciation guide.
