We were up at the crack of dawn for great walk along the banks of the mighty Hutt River known to Māori as Te Awa Kairangi, we checked out a few of the "secret" pools
where the trout were jumping and the eels were squirming.....The fruiting blackberry bushes weren't quite ripe, maybe next week.....
