Awoke to the sounds of lawns being mowed, weeds being whacked and
gazebos being built, so we went to the beach.....

A good time was had by all, want to look like Robinson Crusoe.....
Just add sea water, twenty minutes in the surf and I looked like
I'd been shipwrecked for a decade.....
Once again calling into question my current hairiness.....

Was listening to it towing the Caravan (not the song ) and Lumpy gravy (2 for CD), back from Adelaide :mad:

Good morning earthlings and welcome to a warm wet 'n' wild Thursday morning awaaaaay on out in the valley.....

It was beautiful around 6:00am, birds singing not a cloud in the sky,
here we are a couple of hours later with thundery thunder and torrential rain.....

We're still sitting on around 20°C so the valley's steaming, with visibility down to maybe 10 Metres.....

Regretfully I must shelve the outdoor chores of the day and resume my position on the maroon sofa
for more of our Christmas/New Year Zappadan '22 ↔ '23.....
What a shame, oh well pass me that steaming cup of covfefe and away we gooooo.....

Christmas holidays + pseudo retirement dry run are over,
back to work today, I'm already missing my spontaneous "power" naps.....

^^^^^ I love Vol. 5, Downtown Talent Scout is on my Frank Favs list, not to mention disc two's a peach.....Vol. 5 also does heavy duty time aboard the Ghostmobile, and that's a hard gig to get.....^^^^^

The storm that has been battering the north slipped down the island, largely
missing Wellington, we got a little rain from the edge as it passed us by…..
They've named it cyclone Hale, and it's now flooding the top of the South Island,
parts of the north received a months rain in 24 hours, the south could be in for more of the same…..

But, until then…..

Rained all day, 5:00pm on the dot the sun popped out on maximum attack,
it went from around 17°C (62.6°F) to 22°C (71.6°F) in a minute and I'm lovin' it…..

Climbed aboard the Ghostmobile for the commute and wow Jeff Beck's Somewhere Over the Rainbow
on the radio followed by "Jeff Beck has died, he was 78"…..

I was sobbing all the way home…..
