The show was awesome: they started quickly and ran real long, playing 2 sets with three Popeye cartoons playing in the intermission. There was only
little banter between Les and audience: only in front of Lee van Cleef Les talked about going to the drive-in movies.
Of course, that didn't mean I had no interaction with Les...
I found myself at the front right, behind a post. I had a good view on Les and if I wrapped myself around the post, I could see Ler too. I was having
a merry time on my own, singing along with everything. Often I had the idea Les was looking at me, which I dismissed as a figment of my imagination.
Until after the second set, when a roadie pushed a rolled-up piece of paper in my hands. It was a setlist!

yes i do go to shows alone, I'll go see Dälek alone in May, but I prefer
going with a friend or two, I like to share a concert, which I consider a special moment, with someone, especially someone who knows and likes the
bands we see. If you could come to Paris I'd be more than glad to meet you for real.
