My father would have called this earthquake weather, although when we had
a decent 5.8 shake about 9:00pm last Thursday it was wet and windy, not
earthquake weather at all.....

Just finished a marvelous meal of roast wild pork and kūmara, plus
a jug of the hippies also wild ginger beer.....

A long forgotten favour for a friend was rewarded today with about
three pound of whitebait, one of the last of the kiwi delicacies from yesteryear that can still be found.....
As kids in the mid 60's we used to catch them in a local stream on a regular basis, these days they're so rare,
you've got to "know people" to get hold of them.....

I've sent out the message to Tom (the orange Māori) a couple of the Mikes and one of the Johns.....

Wow what a night the lads were in top form, the food was amazing,
agent orange insisted on adding an hour to the process by going
"old school" and cooking outside, under the stars look there's Jupiter
and she's huge, next thing you know it's spot the dot with the binoculars
and Joe 90's telescope.....

The little woman, who may or may not be familiar with the musical styling's of Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show,
had the fire absolutely roaring by the time I materialized on the maroon sofa, which was very nice.....
