Ok, i know what you're all thinking, but it's not like that... Here are eleven reasons why people
should not bag him.
1. Prince is my second favourite guitarist of all time (guess who's first...).
2. Prince is an absolute motherfucker of a musician.
3. Prince is a great drummer.
4. Prince is funky like few others.
5. Prince is a better dancer than Michael Jackson.
6. Miles Davis admired Prince. He played at Miles' 60th birthday party.
7. Prince's bands have all been motherfuckers.
8. Wendy.
9. Lisa.
10. Sheila E.
11. The vocal perfomance on 'The Beautiful Ones'.
I'm not proud to say I admire a dude who wears g-strings and high-heels, but that's all in the past now.Pappawas1975 - 24-11-2005 at 10:03
Prince is a very talented guy, and has written some great music, I agree.....He has written some shit though too....Puptent - 24-11-2005 at 12:12
I know he's a major talented guy, but I could never really get into his stuff. "Around the world in a day" is a nice album.Pappawas1975 - 24-11-2005 at 12:19
Some of Sign O The Times is pretty good too, was never really a big fan of the sogn Purple Rain though,........it seems to haunt me in pubs...BBP - 24-11-2005 at 15:37
That's an artist who makes me negatively sleepy. I can't bear listening to him, I'm too jumpy I suppose. Or perhaps I drink too much
coffee.scallopino - 24-11-2005 at 16:48

He he. I get haunted by various songs from the world's most annoying band, "The Darkness". Uggh.Pappawas1975 - 25-11-2005 at 10:06
Ha! I quite like The Darkness actually.....At least it might get young people listening to classic rock,anyway.....But for some reason Purple Rain
always hunts us down, and I have beenknownto either sing(shout) the chorus, and EVEN slow dance to it with whatever young thing I happened to snare
that particular evening......Yep. Pretty good. Really neat. As for other drunken songs, The Black Eyed Peas and I dont have a very good
relationship.....scallopino - 26-11-2005 at 06:44
Oh yeah, please let us never mention TBEP ever ever again.Pappawas1975 - 26-11-2005 at 20:20
Ok, I wont....that new song of theirs is ssoooo annoying, and, by merely reading this post, it has popped into all your heads, and will be there for
some time.....punknaynowned - 3-9-2006 at 12:29
not me, I don't go where they play modern pop. not even grocery stores, too many distractions, not enuf $$.
for those who don't like Prince, try Sexy MF or When You Were Mine. Fine!DrIncluding - 17-10-2007 at 21:20
Rainbow Children and N.E.W.S. are brilliant albums - the 2002 tour really was amazing...
I like Prince a lot..punknaynowned - 2-7-2008 at 14:58

I recently bought Sign O' the times, I didin't like that album when it came out and I was wrong.scallopino - 3-7-2008 at 13:03
Here's a video I came across yesterday of Prince playing with Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne. I think it was at one of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame
nights and Prince had just been inducted. It's a George Harrison tribute.
