Please ignore any spelling errors: these were caused by trying to type with a book on your hands, and I'll get rid of those in my definite
version of the text (it's just that right now I really don't want to look at it.). If there's any grammatical error, such as a Dutch
proverb or idiom literally translated to English, or if it's just plain illegible. I tried to copy the style used in the book, 1948 French will
be different from present-day French, I assume, but that doesn't mean it's always clear.
