Zappa on other web sites
Just a bit of fun but could also be good to highlight Zappa related items on other web sites. I frequent Hi Fi site WAM which has a few Zappa fans and
posted this to see what reaction it will get.
thread is twelve songs post in a row of similar theme (bit dull - have bother with the one before but given the theme is love song - why not trudge
out an undercover Zappa song à la Cruising with Ruben & the Jets)

Discussing The Mothers of Invention - Freak Out! on Zappateers, any one can to add their comments...
https://www.zappateers.com/forums/topics/6216
"Freak Out!' did have the Mothers lineup at the time present and playing their instruments on every track. Some of the Wrecking Crew folks added
extra horn, strings, and guitar as needed to help flesh out Frank's charts. it's not like, say, 'Pet Sounds' that pretty much only had The Beach
Boys' vocals with everything else provided by the Wrecking Crew."
"The listing for each track on "The Big Note", tell a different story."
"But part of the problem could be that Carol Kaye (who is notorious for telling delusional tall tales and reacting with nasty vitriol when called out
on it) has always said that the wrecking crew did most of the playing on it."
"My ears tell me that its not the Mothers playing (particularly on the first 2 sides), apart from Zappa doing some solo's and playing Kazoo with Ray
and the vocals, it sounds nothing like Absolutely Free, which the mother did play on. MOFO makes this even clearer."
"On Absolutely Free, Elliott Ingber was no longer in the band, I think Billy Mundi rather than JCB did most or all of the drumming, and Zappa added
some more experienced players to the Mothers compared to the Freak Out lineup."

Well, unfortunately less and less people - and companies - have their own website / homepage. Social media has sort of been taking over there.
