In case you don't know the resistor color code, it says 24.9 ohms, with a 1% tolerance...

Dutch mnemonic is
Zij bracht rozen op Gerrits graf bij vies grauw weer
black0, brown1,red2,orange3,yellow4,green5,blue6,violet7grey8,white9
silver exp -2 and gold -1
so 249 x 10 e-1 = 24.9 as you mentioned
Is there any UK mnemonic for donkey''s like me?
