There's no such word in English, DED, at least I couldn't find any...
English-speakers: what do you call someone who's driving on the wrong side of the road? |
it was close enough-in england they are called "ghostriders"
after the infamous continental bike riding man in black nut case and all round police baiter "the ghost-rider"
but that's only among the biker community that's why maybe not every one knows the phrase
you guys in holland must know of "ghost-rider"-??

OK Thanks! The dictionaries out here didn't list anything of a kind, and translation engines weren't much help either.
PS I thought a ghost rider was actually a phantom chauffeur, like a Transformer or something.

Strange that you don't have a common known word for it, since you all drive on the wrong side of the road , I suggest you from now on use
the Dutch word "Spookrijder" in the same way as "apartheid" is used worldwide. Consider it as somethig in return for all the
English words in the Dutch language nowadays.
To avoid a discussion on left and right. I assume that most people are right handed and operating the gear-shift is in my eyes a more right hand
action than opening your window. It is a pity that my self-awareness makes it impossible to drive in England. Once I was in the car of an English
supplier of stamping equipment (Paul Sibert with the licence plate 518ERT) in the co-driver seat. The first roundabout somewhere between Gatwick
airport and Guildford convinced me not to drive In England. And thats a real pity in itself, Now I'm stucked to London.

Well, it's the home team... I really support all football teams from my province, plus whatever team Ivan Cvetkov plays in, currently that's
10 teams.

I remember a ridiculous ABC kids show called "Ghost Writer", where an invisible news-minded ghost would magicly give clues (in glowing ink)
regarding up-coming scoops to a gang of young journalists!
 The kids would ask it a question with a type writer, and it would answer by rearranging the letters into an answer! :bouncy:
Fucking hilarious!

Great! Me too, Scallop! Except I don't have to make up for 230 centuries of lost sleep. I just have to hand in a 5000 word paper by the 27th.
