The storm that has been battering the north slipped down the island, largely
missing Wellington, we got a little rain from the edge as it passed us by…..
They've named it cyclone Hale, and it's now flooding the top of the South Island,
parts of the north received a months rain in 24 hours, the south could be in for more of the same…..
But, until then…..

valley…..
Rained all day, 5:00pm on the dot the sun popped out on maximum attack,
it went from around 17°C (62.6°F) to 22°C (71.6°F) in a minute and I'm lovin' it…..
Climbed aboard the Ghostmobile for the commute and wow Jeff Beck's Somewhere Over the Rainbow
on the radio followed by "Jeff Beck has died, he was 78"…..
I was sobbing all the way home…..
