Some Japanese world music and a CD by local band Artefact. Listening to that one. It's OK but it could use real drums. Reminds me a bit of Solex.

Dir en grey single Dozing Green.

So great to find it at the CD fair! Especially because once I found it, I could show it to sellers if I asked for more by them.

The longer I think about it, the more I realize how unusual it was for me to find a special edition Japanese pressing at the second-hand shop.

My first Tom Waits album, I bought the cassette when it was released in 1992, I still have to buy it on CD cause the poor old tape is completely destroyed.

Found another album by Artefact at the second-hand-shoppe and got it for 50 cents. Looks much more new-age-y.

Absolutely thrilled to have found Dir en grey's Uroboros at the second-hand shop. It's considered one of their best albums and it delivers on that promise! Although the sound equality could've been better. It's the US version, and for some odd reason they put the English versions of the songs Glass Skin and Dozing Green on the album. Their singer doesn't speak English very well: his pronounciation is goddamn cute. (of course makes an odd combination with his appearance: he's not Terry Bozzio but he gets close with his big eyes and puffy pinchable cheeks; he hates being called cute but the temptation, oh lord the temptation.)
