BF bought me The Insulated World - the Dir En Grey CD I wanted to buy at the concert but it was sold out. Love him!

That's a great present, it's always cool when a boyfriend or girlfriend offer you a record you want.

Well, he had bought 2, and the other one was supposed to arrive at the same time, but after two weeks the delivery company said they were sold out and he bought a promotional copy online.

And now I have Dir En Grey - The Marrow Of A Bone. With the infamous Agitated Screams Of Maggots and of course one of my favourites, Namamekashiki Ansoku, Tamerai Ni Hohoemi.

Two requiems? Are you okay?

Even so Mozart's Requiem is some of the finest music ever made.

Hahaha, yes, I'm fine, don't worry, Bonny. I think I'm gonna buy Berlioz's too, soon.

It's pure coincidence.

Nice! Enjoy your Mozart!

I love Ma Vlast (the cycle Moldau is a part of) but I have bad experiences with Von Karajan, I wonder how you like that performance...

Yep, I know Karajan can be hit and miss, sometimes. I'll tell you what I think about it when I've got the record.

A bunch of Pal Studio (later Studio Z) archives were released a few years ago. This album is the FZ related material plus a recording of FZ’s tv appearance playing a bicycle. Most of the stuff is on the Cucamonga album. I haven’t yet determined if they’re the same versions. I don’t have all the appropriate background. A lot of the tapes were confiscated but I don’t know how much Paul Buff took with him when he sold the studio to FZ.

Tales from the Punchbowl - Enhanced CD.

Also found out why it became unplayable as fast as it did. And found that some crafty people managed to play it and upload the videos to YouTube.

In the second-hand store I often find stacks of records by local bands whose albums just didn't sell, and often I pick up one provided it doesn't look like schlager. Today I found another one of those: "Waterloper" by Lichte Dichter. Singer sings in Dutch as added bonus in local accent. But it's already one of the nicest packages I have.

BTW, I have Imported DED's CD and listened to some of it. It's interesting so far, but I'll give it a proper listen when I get back to Adelaide.
