Yeah I wondered what she sounds like... an example of overenthusiastic Dweezil-fanhood (which has magically cured in the past three months).
I really began to regret that purchase (Firecracker) when I opened the CD-box and saw how pink it was...
Either way I gave it to my mother. Our taste in music hardly corresponds, but she didn't like it either.

I Do. It was on Firecracker, the only number 1 hit in the States ever by an unsigned artist. It also appeared on an episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

It's worth every penny, though.. the packaging is great, and the music too.

I grabbed Resolver + Brutality from the Zappateers tracker in lossless FLAC format. Why pay for bootlegs in 2005 when you can get the same stuff for free. well, I guess silver discs and printed artwork are pretty cool, though.

Hey kids! Do you hear that sound? . . . Freaks will be coming from miles around!

Grieg: Lyrical Pieces op 54 and Holzberg suite on piano. Great stuff, well, better than Mecano anyway.

Kamagurka & De Vlaamse Primitieven: Vakantie in de Beesten
I purchased this at a concert of his yesterday. It was great, I got his signature, shook his hand and all that...

It has my favourite Kama lyrics: Konstant degoutant, about a boy who looks like a vagina.

Play are usually pretty good though mate, I can recommend them totally, I mustve spent thousands there in recent times......Just bought this -

Ewan MacColl & A. L. Lloyd
Blow Boys Blow
Personnel: A.L.Loyd - Vocals . EwanMcColl - Vocals . Alf Edwards - Concertina . Ralph Rinzler - Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin . Steve Benbow - Guitar
Tracks: Row Bullies Row . Paddy Doyle . Wild Goose Shanty . While Cruising Around Yarmouth . Old Billy Riley . Handsome Cabin Boy . South Australia . Blow Boys Blow . Whup Jamboree . Banks Of Newfoundland . Whiskey Johnny . Do Me Ama . Jack Tar . Paddy West . Haul On The Bowline . A Hundred Years Ago

Frank Zappa played the original version of Handsome Cabin Boy on USA Radio. Sung to ease the back-breaking work and fill up the long lonely nights with rowdy and profane entertainment. The booklet contains all the liner notes from the original mono LP which covers the history of the songs and the singers. Frank said (see notes - The Lost Episodes): 'When everyone else was listening to Cream I was listening to A. L. Loyd & Ewan MacColl. These were two old guys who used to record together, trying to replicate the original instrumentation of sea shanties. Some of the words were absolutely unbelieveable...I loaned the LP to Beefheart and he probably still has it'. Sonically cleaned and diigitally remastered

Ha! That sound's familiar... I never got my Frizzle Fry copy back from my sister when I lent it to her.
