Imaginary Diseases!

I guess you've all read it on Zappa.com already, but there's another new archival release slated for January: "Imaginary Diseases" with concert recordings of the 1972 'Petit Wazoo' band.

As a big fan of the Wazoo and Waka/Jawaka albums, I am very very pleased with this. The way I see it, this should be a dynamite show.

I've got to hand it to the ZFT, it looks like they've finally got their act together. I can't wait to order this (although it still sucks that you have to fax your credit card info to the US to order this in Holland. What idiot thought that up? )

:)

I guess they've had too many cases of credit card fraud from the Netherlands, but I thought CC companies like Visa offered insurances for that. Nice to see my country mentioned in the same sentence as Ghana, Brunei and Nigeria. :D

I don't want to complain about this endlessly, but it is a big nuisance. I don't own a fax machine myself and I don't think my employer will like it if I'm gonna make (fax) phone calls to the USA on his bill, so I guess I'll have to do this at the post office.

Word of advice Euro - Zappa - Intercats.....Dont bother ordering directly thru zappa.com via Music Today. They take fucking ages, for some god forsaken reason they ship internationnaly by sea mail. Get it from G and S, as hes got em all in, and they will save you dough.

Yeah, that sounds about right.....I finally got my Xmasage yesterday. Very enjoyable. Cant really complain to Music Today about the delay, cos it was within their five week prediction. Still sucked though. I recommend Xmasage! The Moon Will Never Be The Same is great - as is GTR Trio.....

If ya get one BB, watch yourself, because as a music freak with several credit cards, its an easy trap to fall into! If you want something you just order it, and pay it later! Just a little friendly advice, I dont mean to sound patronising..........If you do order it though, get it from G and S rather than the US, cos itll get to ya quicker....

As a student, you can get a credit card fairly cheap from most banking companies. The old Barfko Swill kept refusing mine though, and MusicToday still has that fax bullshit to take care off. I got most of the FZ albums that aren't available from regular stores on Ebay, and much cheaper most of the time.

Think I'm gonna try G&S for my copy of Imaginary Diseases. I'm not sure if I should get X-masage for the music, the overall opinion on the Net seems to be kinda negative, but I guess it's another one I should have 'to keep the collection complete.

That's true, about cheap credit cards... Think I should wait with getting one until I get a job.

DOH!!!!!!!!!-just ordered 6 c.d's from them ahhhh-they have sent e-mail today saying it will take 2-4 WEEKS!!!!-i could f:swear:ing row a boat to america in that time and fetch tjem myself:lol:

Well, having said that about my Xmasage being way late, my copy of Imaginary came yesterday, only after about just over a wekk since I got the e-mail shipped confirmation, so dont be too put off! It could go either way, but youll get em in the end.....What u order, just out of interest? Be very careful opening the packaging too, cos they are a nightmare, especially with digipaks! Youll see what I mean! Having said that, if you ordered quite a few like you did, they might pack em up differently..........

I should really take over this site... I could delete the whole Gossip section or rename it New Releases.

Not yet, not yet... I've got to arrange the whole Paypal-thing first... then buy the site off... I'm getting the hang of PHP though.
