How come I'd never heard of Rush until at the age of 49 I came to the Zappa forum?

Don't know. If it weren't for Primus I may not have heard of them... Perhaps it's geographical.

Hey bonny, could you try to draw someone for real, I mean not a duck version of somebody but a rendition as accurate as possible ? I'd like to see
what it would look like.

Ever shown you my Frank? It's messed up by the scanner, like most of the stuff I made in pencil, but anyway:

Yes, I've already seen that Zappa of yours, but I meant something new, something never seen before.

I still have some FZs and some Steve Vais lying around here... I once attempted to scan one Vai picture that came out particularly well but it messed
up too badly...

I saw Rush in 1985, Power Windows. not a very good album but I liked the trees, la villa strangiata. Still like their album hemispheres. Blue
Oyster Cult opened for them and played Godzilla in addition to a rather nice Doors medley. But that was a long time ago and I haven't listened to
them since. I like much of Peart's lyrics, Lifeson's a good guitar player, especially 20 years ago -- gosh they're still doing that? phew! Their
earlier song Workingman I still like.

Les Claypool is a MASSIVE Rush fan. "If you told me I would be playing with Geddy Lee, I'd have shit a tomato."
John The Fisherman on Suck On This opens with the YYZ morse part. This was re-released on Frizzle Fry (presumably so that unsuspecting players would
think "WHAT THE HELL! It's the same as Suck On This!" before they burst into To Defy The Laws Of Tradition).
