HI/ZPZ etc
PART ONE
Hello Bonny, Ded and everybody. Where's the smiley that waves? I would insert it here, so you can imagine one at the end of this sentence if you
want.
First up, I'm really sorry that I haven't been around for a long time. For my own benefit I've compiled a list of excuses below that are mostly
irrelevant but mostly true. Actually I tried to email you Bonny in about June or July or something but it must have been an old address.
Ok:
1. I haven't been well for ages and 2007 was a shit year in general and I'll be extremely glad when it's over.
2. I became disenchanted with the internet.
3. When you stop doing something for a few weeks, it easily turns into months.
I thought when I typed the word 'list' that i would think of a lot more excuses!
Anyway, I'm back mostly because of the christmas message I got by email for The Goose. It's a christmas miracle!
PART TWO
My sister and I went and saw Zappa Plays Zappa on November 30 at Hamer Hall in Melbourne. Ray White and Steve Vai were the guests. I was astounded!
That band is amazing and Dweezil played so well. I think the secret word of the
night was EAF! (Dweezil: "What the fuck is Eaf?") I shook the Vaultmeister's hand after the show.
The highlights for me were a medley from 200 Motels, Doreen, What's New In Baltimore, City of Tiny Lights, G-Spot Tornado, Jamie Kime's guitar solo,
Sheila Gonzales in general, Andy, Dupree's Paradise, and many many more. They played a three hour set with no interval and I can't wait for them to
come back.
Anyway, Merry Christmas and a happy Boxing Day.

At the moment I see no picture in your avatar...
That must've been one heck of a show! Did you make pictures?
I hope you're feeling better!

Lawd! Speaking of "avatars" mine scares me when I come here! IT'S HUGE! TOO HUGE! I've got to scale that down a bit. My shadowed face, the FZ pic
behind me, and the lighted teeth! They flickered but that got lost in the still shot. ("With twinkling lights!" -- Captain Beefheart, "Bat Chain
Puller".)

Bat, I don't think it's big enough! It's much smaller than a wombat.

You can make a moving gif of it. Was it one colo(u)r flikkering or several colo(u)rs ?
