Good evening citizens and welcome to what has been a beautiful Wednesday awaaaaay on down in paradise.....
A long forgotten favour for a friend was rewarded today with about
three pound of whitebait, one of the last of the kiwi delicacies from yesteryear that can still be found.....
As kids in the mid 60's we used to catch them in a local stream on a regular basis, these days they're so rare,
you've got to "know people" to get hold of them.....
I've sent out the message to Tom (the orange Māori) a couple of the Mikes and one of the Johns.....
It's Fritters at Eight - Don't be Late.....
Until then our extended (by royal decree) Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Zappadan 2022 resumes with.....

Wow what a night the lads were in top form, the food was amazing,
agent orange insisted on adding an hour to the process by going
"old school" and cooking outside, under the stars look there's Jupiter
and she's huge, next thing you know it's spot the dot with the binoculars
and Joe 90's telescope.....

Good evening citizens and welcome to an extreamly wet 'n' wild Thursday evening awaaaaay on out in the valley.....
What a difference a day makes, beautifully warm yesterday freezing and stormy today.....
Slooooow trip home, with heavy visibility limiting rain and strong winds making the drive out a little more exciting
than usual, definitely a low speed high drag affair.....
The little woman, who may or may not be familiar with the musical styling's of Dr. Hook & the Medicine Show,
had the fire absolutely roaring by the time I materialized on the maroon sofa, which was very nice.....
Now to business, this evening's installment of our extended (by royal decree) Queen Elizabeth II Memorial Zappadan 2022
commences, loudly to compensate for the storm outside with.....

Out in the valley it's very calm in comparison with barely a breath of wind,
still a little chilly at 9°C (48.2°F), according to the little woman it feels more like 2°C (35.6°F).....
This is why we are deep deep deep in the cave where it's closer to 22°C (35.6°F) and also where,
