what the hell do you think of it Fido? all the reviews i've seen have been five star. in related news, i'm kind of starting to get a bit sick of cirque du soleil and all their wonderful shenanigans.

Sorry i posted the wrong thing.:duh: I was refering to the new re-worked Beatles cd, which i think is overly hyped.

You going to see Cirque du soleil then?

Oh yes! Alice in Chains sure was an aquired taste for me. The only music I know that's more depressing is Shostakovich.

op!
my list was wrong, it was '95. those ween songs came from a 6cd set of assembled live tracks of their first truly int'l tour '94-'95 which was circulated as 'rotten cheese' and has a number of inaccuracies. you can still get it at http://www.browntracker.net
but here is a piece of the accurate gig guide found at http://www.boognish.com
date gig place
. . .
03-23-95 Vera Groningen, Netherlands

03-24-95 Effenaar Eindhoven, NL

03-26-95 Melkweg Amsterdam, Netherlands

03-26-95 Radio Hilversham, Netherlands

03-27-95 Hofterlo Antwerp, Belgium
. . .

if anybody likes primus here, they'd surely like ween

and thanx scallopino, I like to have a good time. dj setlists and mixtapes are an obsessive hobby of mine. local djs come to me for inspration. it's kinda weird:puzzled:

Like Primus very much! But I only know Ween from the South Park album, and that song is in the line of songs I always skip.

Now I'm listening to Dad trying out his magnetic tapes he just got. Now playing is a Dutch translation of The Wild Rover.

yeah, Homo Rainbow is a nice sentiment but I never listen to that one either.
the live album Paintin The Town Brown '90-'98 is great. you'll find lots on there to enjoy. Also, the most recent Shinola vol 1 is a very representative ween record. my faves are the first 4 releases: GodWeenSatan: The Oneness, Pure Guava, The Pod and Chocolate & Cheese. The Mollusk is also great and nautically themed and Quebec is a fine return to form.
Now unlike some other artists, they're not looking for anybody to buy their records. It makes $$ for the record company. But those are the definitive versions that most people know. They make their shilling off of live tours and have consistently played 3+ hour shows for the last 10 years -- except for summer festival lineups where that kinda behavior is just not feasible. So you don't have to worry about giving them yer money. They could care less. Buy the records used or download them, worry free.
Again, get the live album Paintin The Town Brown '90-'98 and Shinola vol 1.
you won't regret it.:D

Mozart - Magic Flute. Dec 5 is the death day of Mozart, so the German TV is giving a lot of Moz helping. Highlight must have been the German synchro movie Amadeus.
