thanx scallop, you gave me an idea what to listen to next
The Vanilla Tapes...
They put London Calling on one cd and then a couple years ago released a 2nd disc with the deluxe edition with the vanilla tapes, an old demo tape
from 1979 that was lost until 2003 or 04, so they packaged that with a short Don Letts video recording that album
I Love it!!!
here's one

That sounds awesome! London Calling is one of my favourite albums ever, especially double albums. They were total virtuosos, as much as they tried to
hide it. That's a nice cover too.

being "kebab-kosher-jazz-film-traffic-punk-music.

I'm listening to a recording of Spinal Tap from their recent "Unwigged and Unplugged" tour.
No phony-baloney English accents either. Kinda nice...

Jeff Buckley is liked a lot here...Triple J really mourned him when he died and would often play memorial shows on the anniversary of his death and
stuff. I think it's a pretty good list. Triple J is very much a youth station and the majority of the people who voted would be 25 and under. It's
much broader than the other lists they've done, from 1989 and 1998. One reason is the internet and iTunes.
