Good evening citizens and welcome to a warm 'n' wet Monday night awaaaaay on out in the valley…..

More rain/flooding/devastation up North, with even more on the way,
loose talk of some roads taking years to reopen, if ever…..

We we're neck deep in a serious housing shortage before the cyclone blew through, with a three year waiting list for social housing…..

During the Covid-19 lockdowns, the government popped the homeless into commandeered motels and motor-camps for there own safety,
as the homeless returned to the street the same motels and motor-camps were used as emergency short term housing,
anecdotally some folks have been in these places for years…..

Good evening citizens and welcome to what turned out to be a gorgeous day awaaaaay on out in the valley…..
First thing the forecast was for doom with gloom in the afternoon…..
This was going to be bad for the crucial last day of a five day game being played at Wellington's Basin Reserve
between England and New Zealand…..
Now, I'm not a big cricket fan, however international test match cricket against the pommes, at the basin…..
As Snoop Dogg would say "I'm keeping my ear on that sh#t"…..
For the last week Wellingtonians have been a beeping and a tooting as they drive passed the basin as the game
has see sawed back and forth to and fro…..

This afternoon New Zealand beat England by one run…..

The silver lining for England; Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth II is not alive to have to bare the shame
of this historic loss to a flock of uncouth antipodean upstarts…..

And now, after watching Frank and Moon on Letterman
it's time for a little…..
