I've never heard anything by King Crimson. They weren't that big in my day and in modern times I have taken steps to avoid them as I want to listen to them fresh at the right time.

That time is now. I have ordered 'In the court of the crimson king' on a new sealed vinyl remastered from the original tape. I really do not know what to expect, maybe some early prog and fusion, but I'm hoping that it will sound original to some extent and not cliched as a result of being available to aspiring bands for five decades.

The record is taking its time to come. Hopefully it is just the Easter holidays causing the delay.
