The Grande Mothers

I'm going to see them on the 26th.Has anyone else seen them before?

I have a couple of their CDs. Eating The Astoria and Night At The Gewandhaus. Both very entertaining albums.

Hmm,I think I'll wait and see if they have anything like a merch table for CD's.If I see any of those titles,I'll grab one.Thanks for the tip.I haven't found any Grand Mothers titles in any of the local music stores and was thinking of going over to Sacramento,a traffic nightmare,to see if any stores had anything over there.I'll wait until I see them next week.They might have something new out.

On another note,I went to a CD release gig for Bill Scholer,a local boy going solo.He used to have a blues band.Near the end of the show,I recognized a CB song.It took me awhile as it fit like a glove right into his set.The song is Aunt Man Bee.Nice suprise so I bought his CD.I was delightfully suprised and it's made it's way into my rotation for now.It's called Haunted Highway on Napalachia Records at http://www.napalachia.com
I call it a western swing blues kinda sound. :forumsmiley287:
