Roxy by Proxy

I have only a few quick notes.
That particular venue sound? That mixer, that remote truck recorder, those instruments and added gizmos, the placement of the microphones that you all know if you know the FZ/Mothers album Roxy & Elsewhere - you know it, even if you don't know you know it - it's all there. The musicians are there too. They did a bunch of other songs on that tour, & in this venue, in Hollywood.

Roxy by Proxy more than doubles the length of the original two-record set.

The sonic clarity of this release is fantastic. So much MORE detail shows up here than the original R&E release. Haven't read the liner notes by Ruth Underwood, yet. They promise to be very detail orientated as well.
