Reached 1988. Yesterday I totally happened to listen to the Bolero, and somehow I could FZs reggae version a lot more now than before.
Now at YCDTOSA 5/2.

Played disk 1 of Jazz Noise yesterday and disk 2 today. Didn't make much headway yesterday with only 5 CDs it feels like, but I've had all the YCDTOSAs now, only have AOTT, PP, Yellow Shark and CP3 left, and I'll leave CP3 for the 21st.

And what a great solo on Black Page!

Heard Have I Offended Someone?
Had been a while but it was my 2nd Zappa album after Son Of Cheep Thrills, and someow I'll always feel that Dinah-Moe Humm is the best one.

Wathed 200 Motels and tried if I could find a little more on Martin Lickert. Such a cute guy, sad to hear he passed on in 2006.

Wrapped up Zappadan yesterday. During Zappadan I don't backtrack either, which isn't fun if you really want to hear a song again. This year I also managed to wear a Zappa-shirt every day. I tried not to listen to Dir en grey, but they had a new album out last week so that didn't work.

Listening a lot to Amnerika now and suddenly the connection between the piece and Webern's Klangfarbenmelodien dawned on me.
