The white zone returned back on top of Billy the mountain (and some of his relatives) for two weeks now but refuses to stay down in the Centerville
plains (due to mild temps). Expecting rising temperatures the upcoming week.

Live: Aotearoa braces for Cyclone Gabrielle
10:12, February the 11th 2023.
Key Points:
Tropical Cyclone Gabrielle is in the Tasman Sea moving southeast and reached "severe" category 3 status on Friday.
Met Service says the cyclone is now tracking closer to New Zealand than previous projections suggested.
Strong wind, heavy rain and large swells are expected from Sunday and Met Service has issued heavy rain watches
for Northland, Auckland, Coromandel Peninsula, Gisborne and Hawke's Bay.
Strong wind watches have been issued for Northland, parts of Auckland, Coromandel Peninsula and parts of the central North Island.

The National Emergency Management Agency says now is the time to prepare and take action to get your whānau (family)
and your household ready.
Heavy swells of up to 7 metres are also possible next week.

Our valley runs east to west, to the east we have the Orongorongo River
