Learned something new today...
Modem stands for modulate demodulate.
And here's why they were so noisy!

I knew that one, but I recently found out that a spool, such as for a printer, stands for Simultaneous Peripheral Operations On-Line.
Hi there.

I knew what spooling is in a computer system, but I didn’t realise it was an acronym.

I know... Hunchback of the Notre Dame seemed like a very strange choice when I was in my early teens when it came out, having read the book I'm even
more baffled that Disney would try to make a PG story out of that. Characters flat and only a few things that also appear in the book. Which ends with
the death of Quasimodo and Esmeralda, who walk out of the movie version. You know.

69 is a unique number.
Its square (4761) and its cube (328509) uses each of the ten digits only once. It's the only number with this property.

Am currently reading the Bible from Genesis to Revelations for non-religious reasons. Had always assumed that Noah took two of every species onto his
ark, but no; he took two of every unclean and seven of every clean animal. Why seven? One for food was my wife's answer. God was also really picky
about which birds to take, too.

The Dutch band Gruppo Sportivo count as Important FZ Protagonists in The Netherlands - and without me being aware of this, also my introduction to FZ.
Take Your Clothes Off (Lumpy Gravy version) was covered by them as introduction for Superman.
Dad told me today that their song "Real Teeth Are Out" is an homage to FZ. I played him Stinkfoot but he still doesn't hear it. Screams FZ to me.
What do you think?
