Yes yes Bonny, it sounds less (Les?) than impressive. I don't believe i've ever heard Les talk in a regular voice. What does he sound like? Like i'd
expect?
I've been checking out all their mtv videos on Youtube. My current favourite (apart from the ones i'd already seen, like Tommy the Cat and Wynona) is
Mr. Krinkle, where Les is in some kind of a rabbit-pig suit with all jugglers and contortionists and whatnot behind him. I also like John the
Fisherman where he has hair like Kid Rock, and Ler looks like someone from Sonic Youth.

Ooooh... Mr Krinkle is sooo coool! All their videos (with perhaps the exceptions DMV and Laquerhead) are great!
Haven't you got Animals Should Not Like To Act Like People DVD/CD yet? It's a nice EP and a fantastic DVD with ALL videos (including The Devil Went
Down To Georgia), some have commentary, plus several live songs, rarities (like Primate footage) and oddities. Like Kirk Hammett getting a tongue
piercing. And even some Alice In Chains. I spent many a good hour enjoying it,
there's so much cool stuff on it!
Les's regular voice sounds like much his singing voice, yet lower and more in tune. He'd make a fantastic cartoon voice-actor.
Do you have that bootleg fragment where somebody spits on Les during Frizzle Fry, where Les gets mad?

No, i don't have any of the dvds yet, or bootlegs. What happened when Les got mad? I wouldn't wanna mess with the guy because he must have real strong
hands. And if you've gone to a concert, why the fuck would you spit on the performer? Maybe Les needs someone like "Dong"!

Say I have the MP3... it's not very big... Just mail to bbp@jelliclemail.zzn.com and I'll send it to you. It took me quite some time before I could
figure out all Les says...

Ehhmmm...
One of the first times I remember hearing Primus was in 1996 when I was playing Leisure Suit Larry 7, and I got confused because Larry Laffer sounded
a lot like Les. But I must have said that before

Today I set all my pride to the side and bought the Primus best of. The record store had 2 disks in the Primus-section, one was the one at 20,99 I
found earlier, and the other was in the original wrapping, at 14 E. I got that one...
When I handed it to the sales guy, he was telling me how horrible that packaging was and how impossible it was to put it back once it had been
removed. It's a tight plastic wrap that looks a bit like a Cheddar wrap, saying how healthy it is and stuff. It only fits just. So I don't think I'll
be listening to Zingers for a while because I need to remove the wrap, but leave it intact.

I'm familiair with that dillema.
Chrome tapes are not made any longer
I have a few new ones.
If I unwrap them, they are used
If I don't unwrap them they say NEW, but than I can not use them.

Nasty dilemma... yet a bit different. Zingers is like when you're camping and leaving the site (and getting out there before noon) whilst you have a
tent that you need to roll up very tight, then it doesn't fit into the designated bag and you have to roll it up again, but tighter...

Oh well better late then never.
Yea I told Bonny the story of how I almost joined Primus except I have never had a drivers license and was about two years too young to join the band
anyway but Les got my name from the drum guy at the music store. He had heard about me and wanted to talk. we chatted for a while but being that I
was only a teenager and didn't drive pretty much did me in for that. the funny thing is they used to play at all the same clubs I did a few years
later in SF and I had never once seen them. Strange how our paths never crossed again but then when I heard the name later in the 90's and heard
Les's voice I remembered that band I almost joined from El Sobrante, CA which was two towns over from mine. I think the area they were from made me
not really want to join though.
Damn if only I would have hooked up with them at the night break when Brain left the band and I could have died of alcohol poisoning or some other
party related misshap.

Wow Huck. That's extremely cool. What kind of music were you playing back then?

Harold On The Rocks lyric. I was referring to Huck's last line.
