I wonder who's drumming, Herb or a replacement...
yes i do go to shows alone, I'll go see Dälek alone in May, but I prefer going with a friend or two, I like to share a concert, which I consider a special moment, with someone, especially someone who knows and likes the bands we see. If you could come to Paris I'd be more than glad to meet you for real.

I hope Herb is the drummer, he is presented as their current drummer on their facebook page, so I suppose he will play in June.

Yah but he had a heart attack and Danny Carey filled in for him.
Sharing a concert is great but I haven't always had the pleasure; with ZPZ in Tilburg my sister didn't stay for the encore (She MISSED G-Spot Tornado!) and when we went to the Virus festival in 2001 and saw After Forever (= Dutch gothic band) and Def P & Beatbusters she was... embarrassing is the best word I suppose. But seeing Primus with her was fantastic!

Ha, I didn't know about the heart attack, it really sucks, this time.

Les & co at Tivoli Vredeburg on 16 June!
Geez, that's two weeks after Diru. Tivoli Vredeburg is a new concert hall. Vredeburg has had a problem with audio leakage, particularly in the chamber music hall.

Primus has decided to close down the bullboard. Only found out about this when I wanted to post a link to my concert review. It's sad that they couldn't get adequate moderation: they hadn't allowed new members in since 2011.

The first song Primus played in 2018 was was the Dead Kennedys classic "Holiday in Cambodia," with Bob C. Cock on vocals. This year's New Years show was at the beautiful Fox Theater in Oakland. Video by Josh Keppel.

For copyright purposes, this video only shows the second half of the song, but it's enough to get the feel...

I've been considering getting the new Claypool Lennon Delirium album. What do you guys think about it?

Good idea! I liked that one song they made the video for (can't for the life of me recall the title) but at the time I didn't have the budget and at present I have neither budget nor store.

Finally "went to" a Primus concert again - the livestream they had on the 11th. Was great to see them live with Tim - even if I couldn't watch real time - so great to see Les's home and to hear three Antipop songs even!
