Hmm. So i guess tobbogan is the best term for those olympic things. Or sledge. In australia, sledge is a verb meaning the same thing as insult. This
is especially practised to great effect by the australian cricket team!

What context would that be? "Don't sledge on me, mate"?

Sort of. More like, "Don't sledge me, mate" or "Stop sledging me, ya
pelican-headed bastard" or some similar thing. It's only really used by the media to describe insults in a sporting context. So we usually see it
like:
"AUSSIES TOLD TO TONE DOWN SLEDGING ENGLISH. AGAIN." when describing the cricket.

OK ok, this applies to the couple of decades before this year, which never happened anyways, and will retaken in 6 months or so.
And i bet there was still a large amount of sledging anyways...

He's advertising a phone company now... bloody annoying.
No we won't take Steve Irwin. We have our own Martin Gaus to be annoyed with.
There is one snake that bit Steve Irwin, so there's still hope (albeit precious little)...
