there are two versions, bb, choose the re-issued version with 2 cds, it 's better than the 1 cd version.

I got it! And when I got home, I discovered that video I bought one time when we were at a flea market.

Also got Dweezil Zappa - Go With What You Know. It has real tight packaging, and I couldn't open it... stupid...

I think I'm listening to a live performance of pete townshend and roger daltrey in edmonton, alberta.

I definitely heard the overture/underture from tommy live, just now!!!!!
very exciting for me as if it is live an immediate gratification thing of a piece of music I've loved for over twenty years. To a hear new, even, right now, live version, for free, on the net, is fantastic. and then the two of them play a song about having some tea, growing old, just the two of them, 'feeling kinda sad'

Anyone unfamiliar with The Who Live at Leeds should check that out for sure::guitar::drums::singer::guitar2:

they're doing it in conjunction with/for the 24-7 Who internet radio station they've launched. sirius.com, you get a free three-day trial. which means I can listren again on the tenth for them in Vancouver:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:
guess I just diverged from the subject topic

Hey punk:

have you ever seen the episode of Family Guy with John Williams in it? You haven't? Ok, i'll tell you about it then...

Brian starts working as a director of porn flicks in LA. He becomes very successful very quickly and gets nominated for the porn film industry awards (the Woodies). One of the awards for the night is for best soundtrack for a film. The first four nominations are all stereotype sleazy smooth restaurant funk-jazz producers sitting in studio who all sound the same, and then there's the last guy: John Williams, who's in a suit with a 120 piece orchestra conducting a complex Star Wars style thing with trumpet fanfares and fast woodwind runs and all! God it's hilarious.

Well... I got 4 DZs now, vinyl Havin' A Bad Day, vinyl My Guitar Wants To Kill Your Mama, for which I had to travel 8 hours in order to get it, Automatic and Confessions.
Bad Day is kinda cute but not very interesting, Guitar is horrible, Automatic is better but has covers from Bizet that simply sound awful. Confessions after hearing it twice I think is funny and has some very nice bits. But musically, well, he's not his dad. His compositions have the tendency to get boring.

Now it's 5 DZs. GWWYK has, of all, the ugliest front cover (and a back that's worse), impossible sealing, and a disgusting love song with lyrics that would embarrass me if I had written them. On the brighter side, most compositions on it are pretty cool, apart from the first track (that love song. It begins with a high peep that ascends further, like Slow, Deep and Hard from Type-O-Negative). Peaches is nice, though the beginning sounded horrible. And the Inca Roads clipping is a bit cruel. Otherwise it's very enjoyable. DZ has learned not to spend the entire booklet on intensive Thank You messages. Furthermore he's sounding more like daddy, his compositions are definitely interesting. It's possibly his best album yet.
