I've just ordered it, I'll have to wait for a few days to know whether it's good or not. But here's a link if you want to listen to excerpts.

Now totalling at 46, which is really nothing seeing as there are upwards of 300 ( thats including his early vinyl and cassette releases though, even without them youre talking 270 at least ).
Oh, thats not including the small matter of the Merzbox, which is a 50 Cd box set, which, although often tempted, I simply cannot afford at £510!

Listened to the first ( orange ) disc of Turmeric yesterday though. Very intense, very enjoyable....

Guk... 300+ albums...

Have you considered buying Merzbox with more than 1? I did that once, with my sister. (Now I got RHCP Californication which is now half the price it was then. Eventually my sister didn't like it anymore and said I could have it, mind you at the full price so I had to pay her.) Could work out.

Wouldnt want to share it! Plus the fact that nobody I know personally ( in real life, not online! ) likes Merzbow to shell out £250!! Nice idea though!

As for last album I bought ( well, pre-ordered ) - THE FOUR DISC OFFICIAL FZ AUDIO DOCUMENTARY.....FREAK OUT!!!

Not that much information on it, typical of the ZFT, but looks great nonetheless. I missed out on getting my name on FZ:OZ, so figured Id go for it on this bad boy.....

Just got MERZBOW - Tamago. A sheer fluke, called this place in London up on the offchance, and they dawgawn had it......
This is a real find, limited to 350 copies and is as rare as fuck, so to get a new one relatively cheap is awesome. My copy is number 235 out of 350. Ive seen these sell on e-Bay for £50 upwards.

Havent managed to listen to it as yet though....

Once I missed out on a Ruben a/t Jets vinyl at 20 Euros. How bad was that?

As a music fan, I say that the credit card is the ultimate tool to our hobby. It enables you to do and purchase so much more music, and as long as you are sensible with it, it rocks! Get one BB!
That said, as long as you have a bank account, you can use Paypal, thus enabling you to buy thru e-Bay and alot of online stores, so it aint all that bad. Ok, Barfko needs a CC, but think about it, if you only used the CC for ZFT and related releases, it wouldnt be too hard to keep up with it would it?

I agree with Goj, Bonny, a credit card is absolutely necessary, get one.

Recent Merzbow additions - F.I.D., Bloody Sea and Merzbeat, which Ive been after for ages and has just finally been re-issued,,,,

I've just "acquired" this record and I'm really impressed, it's simpler than To megatherion and Pandemonium but it has more impact, in my opinion, perhaps because of the sound that is really good.
