Skindred's Babylon album is a very good album, not revolutionary but very good. It's a mix of Raggamuffin and metal with a lil' bit of pop and punk.
If you already no the singer's former band: Dub war, Skindred is a better abd tougher version of it. According to a friend who 's a rock journalist,
their second album, that will be released on October 29th, is even better than Babylon, so if you want to try it, you'd better buy their second disc:

it used to be here that if you wanted to know the air temperature you would use the telephone and phone up the bank . . .
they had a special number that would give an automated voice that would say the time and the temperature. . .
I stopped one day when I heard myself say out loud
"I'm gonna call up the bank and see what temp it is"
call up?
call up a bank?
and see? no, actually, hear
see the temperature? no, hear what the voice says the indicator shows
really all wrong and yet, that's what we would say.

That chorus... I don't understand much of the yrics, and don't need to. But that chorus annoys the  out of me.

You may have read on the Zappa.com forum I have gotten a large box of vinyl for free. There's lotsa different music in: Nana Moskouri, Vader Abraham,
Gert en Hermien, Mozart, Bach, Handel, Chopin, Iwan Rebroff, various samplers, christmas songs... etc etc etc.
