Waar heb dat nou voor nodig?
Sjefke van oekel
(Why is that) (Sort of) with the amazing song
Sauerkraut with greasy gravy
That as a protest of a very bad live cd from Chicago I listened before.
Afterwards I found out that I had plugged in my earphones in the line out, nevertheless it was a bad Chicago copy (25 or 6 to 4,beginnings)

Now playing Dog Fashion Disco gain. It's very Mr. Bungle indeed.
Also played DAAU's Domestic Wildlife, but I've been listening to that every day since I purchased it, kinda sad...

Any good aqua? I lost interest in Immolation after the excellent Dawn Of Possession, which, incidentally, has just been re-released after years of
being out of print.......Gotta pick it up again as I sold my original copy years ago.....

You sell albums? I usually hang on to mine even if they suck. (Except for that Lisa Loeb record, which I gave away.) Still got a 2 Unlimited CD around
here somewhere.
Back on topic:
Not the same edition as mine, but the same performers anyway:

Well, I discovered this band a few months ago (I've been listening to death metal since Death's Leprosy but for some reason i'd never bought any
Immolation record before), I bought Unholy cult and it was like then bought Close to a world below and Harnessing ruin within a month, so I
guess I can say I like them a lot.
The album above is good but not as much as Unholy cult. I plan to buy Dawn of possession soon, so I can't compare both records yet. I don't think it
has evolved a lot though since Dawn of possession.
You can watch to the video of the title track I posted above to form an opinion.

Cool, thanks man. Youll like D.O.P., its just so raw and brutal. Immolation were such a big names on the tape trading circuit, when that came out it
was a monumental event!
I saw Immolation supporting Morgoth and Massacre in London back in 91 or 92, and they killed. Your post got me thinking - what happened to the great
live bills like we had back in the day? Everything seemed more exciting then!
Guess its just a sign of age!

Well, it's not bad but it's not exceptional either in my opinion. I think people rave a bit too much about what he does. if he recorded 60 minutes of
himself shitting, some would still find that awesome.

I kinda feel the same way about the PT album. After a few listens, it is a good album, but I cant help but feel it doesnt quite hit the mark somehow.
Its certainly not quite up there with classic Patton related albums like Angel Dust, The Directors Cut, Adult Themes For Voice, etc.
I feel the same way about the Maldoror album. On paper, Patton with Merzbow is a mouth watering event, yet the album, while stil enjoyable, just
doesnt quite hit the mark. Strange, but thats rocknroll I guess....
As for your query as to me selling Cds BB, the answer is DEFINITELY NOT ANYMORE! I did, in my silly, reckless early to mid teens, but I would never do
it again. I definitely learnt my lesson. After thinking " Im never gonna listen to these albums again ", what happened about 6 months down the line? A
tune from one of the said albums pops into my head, and Im all like " Shit! I remember that and I wanna hear the album again! ". I think in total I
sold about 60 Cds over a period of about a year.
Most of the Cds I sold I have bought back, but thats not the point, as I could have been buying albums I didnt have previously and breaking new ground
rather than replacing ones I sold.
You live and learn!

Now playing:
n the other hand, if it wasn't for people selling their CDs, I would never have found DAAU We Need New Animals, or the digipak Marduk I'm listening to
now...
