I was looking for Un beau roman. It had been stuck in my head for days.
Why? Does he get so little esteem in France?

No, it's OK to listen to that, it's not really my cup of tea but he does well. It's more something that parents would listen to rather than 22 (soon
23) year old youngsters such as you. But I must admit that everytime I hear
"Une belle histoire" it remains stuck into my head for days. It's supposed to be on the record you bought, track 5.

I like Moroccan music too, a former girlfriend (haaa Naïma, I miss you )
made me listen to cool traditional music like for example: Abdelsam Cherkaoui (oud player), gnawa music etc...that's very good. Thanx to that I
learned some scales with quarter tones they use in their music and apply them to the guitar.

I spend an entertaining few hours finding the Jupiter quote in Absolutely Free. Do you know where it is?

The last non Zappa album I bought was "Breakfast For Dinosaurs" by the Fowler Brothers. I can't say I like it that much. Bruce Fowler's stuff is
interesting, but there's too much of that LA sound about the album as a whole and I really don't like the female vocalist. If anybody has any of their
other stuff that they can recommend, let me know.
BTW, Gojira1975 is definitely right about amnesia Vivace and that bass line quoted from Holst's Planets on the Aboslutely Free album, not the song.

That's weird... I thought it was at the end of Call Any Vegetable and right before the Invocation and Ritual Dance of the Young Pumpkin. It's rather
obvious, in the melody line.
